The project Senior´s Learning in the Digital Society (SeLiD), an Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership, was planned for the period 1 September 2019 – 31 August 2021, but was extended to April 2022 because of the Corona pandemie. The project was carried out by 8 partners from European universities and was coordinated by the Comenius University in Bratislava Centre for Continuing Education.
The main objectives were open education and innovative practices in a digital era, focusing on improving and extending high quality learning opportunities for digital technologies and ICT, tailored to the needs of individual low-skilled or low-qualified adults.
The project "Educational Senior Network" (EduSenNet ) was carried out from December 1st 2014 to October 30th 2017 under coordination of the Comenius University of Bratislava. It was funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the EU.
The project identified the specific needs of elderly learners aged over 50 and the conditions under which they learn. It also examined possible innovations to make education more accessible for a wider group of older persons.
Virtual European Cultural Centre (VECU)
The VECU project of EFOS was carried out from August 2008 till July 2010. It was financially supported by the Grundtvig Learning Partnership programme of the European Union.
EFOS Enlargement and Co-operation (EFOSEC)
In August 2006 EFOS started with the project EFOSEC which was sponsored by the Grundtvig 2 programme of the European Union.
To our disappointment the project had to be terminated prematurely in July 2007 because one of the national agencies refused the renewal.
